I feel like those games are now my only reason for wanting a PS5.

I'll say this as another Plus for the PS5. The dual sense controller is maybe the best game controller I've ever used. It's stupidly comfortable.
Astro Bot is a fantastic game. If you enjoyed Astro’s Playroom then you’ll definitely love it. The DualSense is easily my favourite Sony controller.

That and the Ratchet game for me. And Gran Turismo, but seriously where I am at in terms of available gaming time GT would be wasted on me

GT7 is a large game but it's mostly broken down into 5-10 minute races and licenses. Even the longer multi-track race events can be paused after each race; resume whenever you want.
Breath of the Wild is complete. Its just as fun and addictive as it was eight years ago. It may not have the perfect dungeon formula bought I found myself returning to this game over and over again. Just fantastic.
It is the only reason that I would pick up a PS5 at the moment.
Advance Wars Reboot /First game- 04/06 - Switch - 9/10
I'm counting the original and sequel that are included in this remake as seperate games. I bought this game so that my kids would have easy access to it and to hopefully rejuvenate my gaming joy, which had been burning very low since the begining of this year. It didn't disappoint. Blazed through the first campaign myself, enjoying the great gameplay and saturday morning like story and characters, now even enhanced by limited voice overs by actual saturday morning cartoon voice actors. Can't say that was 100% my cup of tea, but it definitely matches the overall vibe. The youngest is also digging it and still regularly plays it, now on Switch2.
Still a great game, a true classic. Bit of a shame that the makeovers of the actual troops look so generic. Oh, and you can't skip the battle animations anymore. You can only speed them up, but doing so overlays the proceedings with an annoying humming sound and in one turn you'll have to depress and press the shoulder button a couple of times as some actions don't register if the button is already pressed down before the animation starts.
Super Mario Galaxy is complete. I love this game so, so much. I remember, back in 2007, scouring flea markets the week before release in hopes that someone was able to get an early copy of this game. I was not that lucky, but was still in heaven when I finally got ahold of the game on release day.
SMG perfected the 3D Mario platforming style. The camera was fixed, tricky jumping fixed, just perfection. Then they threw us a curveball by changing how we platform by making Mario run upside down and sideways, jumping with little gravity and flying through space. So good.
