(They don't say it directly in the article, but I am pretty sure the logo is not real. They made it just to go with the article. )

The journalist from gameblog.fr are on a leash recently. After implying that they already saw Metal Gear Solid Rising running at Kojima productions, and leaking Mizuguchi's next game code name (Child of Eden), they are now affirming that Nintendo's next console will be called Wii HiFi. According to what game developers told them, it will be announced at the right end of Nintendo's E3 conference, and it is planned to release around November 2011. Here are the details that have leaked so far:
They don't know how much Nintendo will be showing at E3 though: just the name? Maybe the design? The controller?
So what do you guys think? Isn't it too early to show it if they plan on releasing in November 2011?

Fuck yeah.
What about this?
The company had a similar strategy with the Wii, testing the console until it could withstand an 80 kg weight (176 lbs.) for one minute.
80kg is how much? Could I stand on this thing for a minute?
Once again I believe it. My Wii has also taken some pretty bad spills. It's got chips and dings from getting knocked onto the ground. Got to give it to Nintendo, this the worst my gaming devices have ever been treated, and so far they've lasted longer than either of my two PS2's.

while the pessimist fears this is true.

I just read this old Miyamoto quote
“The consensus [at Nintendo] was that power isn't everything for a console. Too many powerful consoles can't coexist. It's like having only ferocious dinosaurs. They might fight and hasten their own extinction.”
How awesome is Miyamoto's mind? Instead of thinking about numbers on a sheet the first thing he thinks about in sales terms, is ferocious dinosaurs fighting each other to extinction.
Can you imagine the conversations with Iwata. Miyamoto would make his hands into dinos and make little roaring sounds and Iwata would be like
Then Miyamoto would be like "It prints money" and Iwata is like
Xbox 360 E3 Press Conference to broadcast live in Times Square
Aaron Greenberg has revealed that this years Xbox 360 media briefing will broadcast live on the largest HD screen in Times Square. Microsoft isn’t fooling around this year, they’re indeed planning to bust out their biggest E3 ever! Natal, Halo Reach, Gears of War III and rumors of a Metal Gear Solid Rising reveal all promise to deliver a big big show for gamers.
Miyamoto would say something like:
It's like having only ferocious dinosaurs. They might fight and hasten their own extinction. Only one of them would have a lightsaber.
Raven some sad news.
I like the nice big top screen on the 3DS.
I would hope that the Wii HI-FI is at least on par with the 360 power-wise. Definitely like the sound of it being more online focused. It also needs a mass storage device and it should probably use a Blu-ray drive. I'm certainly onboard for it to come out in 2011. I imagine that they'll be smart enough so that it's fully backwards compatible and that everthing can be easily transferred over and the VC service continues and grows to accomodate larger game sizes. Oh yeah and it better have some kind of achievement system.
Some people are just sick.
It should have the power of two 360s duct taped together.
