Now Playing: Golden Sun Dark Dawn, God of War Ghost of Sparta, and DKC Returns
I really want that Transformers game....but will wait for a price drop or a deal.
I've been playing FF 13, and just started Red Dead Redemption. FF 13 gets much better about 10 hours into the game, and in fact the combat is really fun, possibly the best combat in the series at times. Yet the pacing of the game and the balance of the difficulty is totally off. I'm also not really impressed with most of these characters or the story so far. Great production values though, possibly the prettiest game of the generation as of now. As a whole, I'm about 35 hours into it and its a solid 8-8.5 game. Still like FF 10 & 12, as well as Lost Odyssey, quite a bit more.
Red Dead I'm just getting into, but I can tell already this game is basically GTA 4 in the Wild West, but possibly a better game. Its fun just to fuck around doing shit you're not supposed to do like any good ol' GTA game....such as blasting fools off horseback as they gallop by at full speed with a rifle...only to watch their foot get stuck in the saddle as the horse takes off with the guys body dangling off the ground. I'm really trying to finish FF 13 before getting heavily into this game though.
Hunk in Resident Evil 3DS?
I've had my fill for a few months of that.
Notable things about the game:
+ It was one of the few games made by XSN, the Microsoft Games studio that was created to fill the void of online EA Sports games. XSN was closed after EA started to support online play on the XB, which to this day MS says was not a quid pro quo.
+ It supported custom tracks and included game demoes for the XB.
+It included real world courses like St. Andrews and Pebble Beach.
Now playing Blinx 2: Masters of Time and Space by Artoon.
Artoon is a computer and video game third-party developer established in 1999. The team is primarily affiliated in the United States with recent and current Microsoft Xbox and Xbox 360Hudson Soft and Nintendo on other platforms. Key Artoon personnel include Yoji Ishii, Manabu Kusunoki, Hidetoshi Takeshita, Yutaka Sugano, Masamichi Harada, Takuya Matsumoto and Naoto Ōshima. When the company formed, it drew personnel and talent from several of Sega's development teams, particularly those which worked on Sonic the Hedgehog (created by Ōshima), and Panzer Dragoon. Currently, the developer has approximately 85 employees. The company's focus is to create original game content for various consoles[2]. projects, although they have also worked with
Artoon is currently situated in Yokohama, Kanagawa prefecture, Japan. A secondary studio is maintained in Naha, Okinawa prefecture, Japan
It's flatlining there. At least next gen you can expect all PS4s to come with Move. I think.
How do people here feel about the pricing? So it's $150 for Kinect and a similar amount for Move. Can you understand Wii's lack of power and pricing now, considering controller cost? Say you added $150 to the initial launch price of PS3 and 360. What would that be and would you have bought it at launch? Even now if you factor in price drops on the systems, adding $150 to the price, worth it?
I used to only go by Dvader reviews, till he ass raped De Blob.
Why not? Does it suck as much as your De Blob review?
Well, the Move has some extra costs to it, it has the camera whereas the Wii just has the little light emitter bar. The Move sub-controller is wireless, and the main controller has the "wii-plus" built in.
But yeah, your point still kinda stands -- about the Wii having to be cheapened to offset the cost of the controllers. So why include wi-fi in the Wii then? Okay, now I'm not sure your point stands.
=-=-
I'll agree that I think Move will be a part of the PS4, just as Ninty will retain movement for the next console. It;s like vibration and cordless controllers, once you have them you can't really claw them back -- it adds too much to certain games.
=-=-
Cold day in hell before I buy a Move. Unless all of the following games required it: Yakuza4, Uncharted 3, God of War 4 and one or two other games. So, like I said, cold day in hell.
If you paid me $150 to give me a free Kinect I guess I'd take the money and spend it on beer. But I wouldn't hook up the Kinect.
Move is definitely too expensive. The whole package should be sold at a loss for about $80 if they have to. Otherwise, its just not going to sell. Same for Kinect...I just don't give a shit about Kinect anyway so meh....lol
Also factor in that Wii launched 4 years ago and the tech was probably at a similar cost back then to what Kinect is costing now.
Even motionplus, it's vastly cheaper than these new controllers and I put off buying it for a year. I have 1 game that uses it and until Zelda comes out that number won't change. I think you really have to make these new controller must haves and that includes software and pricing.
Another failure to include motionplus support.
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II - no MotionPlus support, 3DS talk, rumored MotionPlus Star Wars
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II
- no MotionPlus support because it doesn't fit with the title's gameplay
- Red Fly was chosen due to having a more flexible development schedule
- Wii version getting bigger support this time due to retail response of the first
- user-suggested ideas being taken into account
- no 3DS version, but the series' future installments should hit the platform
- same content as HD versions
- once again, exclusive 4 player fighting mode
Finally, unofficial sources have claimed that a MotionPlus Star Wars game is coming. We don't have any details as to when it will be announced or who is working on it, but let's hope this rumor turns out to be true! Thanks to Cavayero for the heads up.

IGN's Terrible E3 moments:
"Flower petals grew from our once hairy chests, a Pantera album bonfire erupted from the center of the room and every maternal unit in America found a testicle to crush. It was nothing short of terrifying and no one in attendance will ever, ever fully cleanse themselves. "
Capcom are up to their old tricks again - remember thier SF4 teasing? Expect Capcom to port the iPhone version of MvC3 to 3DS in a couple of years time.
Can the PS3 slim play Blu-ray movies and dvd discs region free?
If so, what kind of dvd compatibility does it have with + or - - RW, Dual layer etc?
