I agree. Why name it after a mediocre game when it really has zero in common with it? I mean, at least I can understand Ubisoft using Far Cry with FC2....but Red Steel? No.

Echoes kinda sucked, but it was still waaaaaay batter than Prime 3. Prime 3 just irritates the hell out of me.

I don't think Echoes sucked, but it was way overrated by every site out there, as was Halo 2 at the same time. I guess that happens when the previous game was considered an all-time classic.

Echoes biggest problem was it didn't have the pacing or direction that Prime had. The map was much harder to follow, and the fetch quest sucked ass at the end. I actually had to turn to a walkthrough to do the fetch quest because I just wasn't feeling up to wasting my time. I think Echoes could have used an extra year of polish. Maybe they spent too much time on that useless multi-player mode. But it was still a solid 8.5ish game.

I can't agree on Corruption though....I thought Corruption was great. Not Prime 1 incredible, but a great 9/10 AAA game. The pacing was probably the best in the series. Its only downfall was that it didn't have the freshness that Prime 1 had since its really only a refinement. Still, it was my favorite Wii game of 2007....ahead of Mario.

If this desk jockey doesn't exercise or do physical work, then yeah, I can see why he needs to turn his game-time into a work-out too, but for me, and I'm guessing for a lot of people, I play to relax, not work up a sweat.

I agree with you...but it is still the only major third party game coming out for core Wii owners, which is why I think it's some hope.

Dragon Quest X is also a ray of sunshine, but that sun won't shine for a loooooong time.

Whether Goldeneye will be good or not, I remain skeptical...yet optimistic. Those early footages of the first mission got me excited and hopeful. It may actually turn out well!

I think a Goldeneye remake could be every bit the classic the original was. Just not a Goldeneye remake made by Eurocom, working with likely not even half the budget of a Halo/ Call of Duty/ Crysis title.

I think it will be a GOOD game though.
