Watching the butt numbingly long MGS3 trailer.
When Snake faces off with blondie, wow the character models are like almost like MGS4 quality. (Note I've only seen MGS4 videos online)
Nice to see that I can bring my DSiWare over to the 3DS. That was an issue I was wondering about since DSiWare is still a new venture and not allowing us to import it would essentiially be taking the legs out from under it. I may just pick up Zenonia in celebration of this over the weekend.
This is also a pretty good sign that our VC games might just carry over to the Wii's predecessor.
Seriously.
Guybrush Threepwood is in Star Wars TFU2
I love Guybrush. I really do. The first couple of Monkey Island games were legendary in my book. But he loses a lot of charm when he's in 3D and frankly this is just dumb. Just because you can cross-over characters, it doesn't mean you should.
Nice visuals.
Complete with 8 bit shadows
Ono says SFIV on 360/PS3 didn't have to be HD, he could have got the same gameplay in 8bit graphics.
And yet he still dodged the Wii with it. Yet went there with iPhone.
Capcom
Liv Tyler is that you?
So, now the dust has settled.... Many great games were announced for 3DS but... I don't see the killer app that would make me buy it and enjoy all those other great games on. Granted, Wii didn't get its killer app until SMG either but... Maybe they're doing this to give 3rd parties the spotlight? Outside Kid Icarus (which is probably pretty niche from what we've seen of it) they didn't really show epic Nintendo stuff. Maybe they'll be post-launch material.
Any PR from NOA/NOE yet?
The optimist proclaims we live in the best of all possible worlds
while the pessimist fears this is true.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It may be tough to identify the killer app for the 3DS just due to the technology. Until we see it in person or get some good hands-on reviews we can never really get the full impact of the game since we can't appreciate the 3-D graphics.
Agreed on the sentiment. Apart from RE Revelations, which is an almost there, there is no must have for me.
Well, apart from Animal Crossing
BTW, I've been posting 3DS game pics here:
