Beautiful.
I am still fighting my way through CV3, I want to find the person who designed that game and punch him in the face. The falling blocks level... go to hell designer. I got through it once (and I guess I erased it from memory) so I can do it again.
Has Infamous 2 been dated? The date on amazon seems like a place holder (Dec 31, 2010).
Killzone. I have 1 and 2. Should I play 1 before 2? Is 1 any good? I tried it a couple of times a few years back and found it to be plodding and difficult. Was I wrong, or was that just the demo?
I'm hoping to end Tomb Raider tomorrow or Saturday and was thikning of KZ2 next, but will play KZ1 based on input.
Tom McShea (gamespot) just said that Enslaved is his third favorite game of the year (after Dead Rising 2 and SMG2).
1 is an alright shooter completely let down by terrible controls. This is never a problem for me, but for those who it is, it's also quite dated. Might be worth giving a spin and seeing how much you can stand the controls, but otherwise you should probably start with 2...not that I've played 2!
Holy fucking shit. After much cursing and gnawing of wiimote, I just cleared the ghost ship, with its annoying medusa sub boss and its shitty two-stage boss with two mummies and the return of my old friend, hammer bitch.
Although, every little feeling of satisfaction I might have had with that, was promptly erased by the following stage, the red tower of raising doom and FUCKING ANNOYING FLYING DEMONS WITH SHIELDS THAT OSCILLATE WHILE THEY ADVANCE AND WIDEN THEIR RANGE OMFGCURSEYOUFUCKING DESIGNER!
Thats the level... the level from fucking hell!!!
New Shenmue project...
"The third Shenmue game has been announced at last! Sega is currently developing Shenmue City for Yahoo! Japan and DeNA's new Yahoo! Mobage service."
"The release refers to the game as "the third entry" in the series, although this probably isn't meant to mean that it's Shenmue III."
"Shenmue City will feature alongside such games as One Million Person Ambition of Nobunaga from Tecmo Koei and Persona Social from Atlus on the new service."
My guess is it's gonna be crap like facebook games or something (a similar service runs on mobile phones), but maybe there will be some parts of value to check out... Famitsu says it will continue the story from part two for example (hey, fans said they'd take the story scribbled on a napkin if they could, right?) though the press release doesn't have that information so I don't know if they have other sources or just guessed this part.
The optimist proclaims we live in the best of all possible worlds
while the pessimist fears this is true.

Nothing will probably come of it just like Shenmue Online.
I hate Dracula. He is an asshole.
Yeah, but Alucard is a real elohssa.
Yeah, won't hurt to give 1 another spin I guess. With these kind of games it's always hard to go backwards and play the older one after having played the newer one.
Oh crap, it happened again. Lost my massive post.

Unreal: 3DS Cannot Handle Unreal Engine
Pretty sick of this attitude from Epic. Treyarch can adapt the COD4 engine and run it on Wii. Capcom adapt their MT Framework engine to 3DS.
You don't create and engine and say that a platform can't run it. You tweak your engine so it can run on that platform in a bastardised mode.
Peter Moore has the right idea.
CVG: Surely the label could deliver even better numbers with FIFA on a new Wii, though - an HD model perhaps
"No. I mean, it's not our job to say: 'Don't do that' to Nintendo. It's the first party's job to develop hardware specs and pricing. It's my job to make our products work within that. We see where we best fit with what they bring to market. And in Wii's case, that's not just ports of 360 and PS3 games."
Kinectimals Coming With Stuffed Tiger
When I saw this story I was quite happy.
Then I see this atrocity. For a start, Aspro that is not a tiger
It even says Cheetah on the box.
But that is one ugly Cheetah. Look at the nose!
Godamn, this would be sweet with a western game.
Kirby famitsu review:
- Kirby's Epic Yarn (9/8/9/10, 36 points): Some of Famitsu's editors were quick to point out that Nintendo's latest Wii platformer wasn't necessarily a bunch of cutesy nonsense. "The game's not just about looking cute -- the way the gameplay takes advantage of this yarn world is brilliant," one wrote. "Even if you've encountered these sorts of obstacles in other action games, they seem fresh all over again here. It's a great action game, too, and if you try to get every item in the game, even veteran action fans will find it challenging. The whole package is stuffed full of fun and surprises."
"The graphics are unique and packed with originality," another writer added. "The game's set up so you never get a Game Over, but there's still enough optional hardcore aspects to it to keep all walks of gamers happy."
Still, other reviewers weren't so convinced. "Some people may nevertheless find the challenge level to be a bit on the low and dissatisfying side," one of them said. "The difficulty's definitely set for casual gamers, making this the sort of action game that's best for parents to play along with their kids."
