PS2 = $50-60

GT3 = $2

GT4 = $10

I popped in my unused copy of Project Gotham Racing 3 and after 2 minutes was like, "I just saved $60 USD".  It scratched that itch immediately -- and it looks great -- great enough for me at least.  And after 51 minutes of play I already have access to some kickass cars.

Maybe they'll announce they are giving the Zelda franchise to Starbreeze to handle from now on.   It seems to be all the rage for Japanese developers these days.

Last-gen games still hold up quite well graphically, and gameplay wise too.

Preaching to the choir Hamster.  But as a point of record I should mention that PGR3 is a 360 title.

PG3 was on the 360 i think, so technically current gen, even if one of the very early ones.  I do wholeheartedly agree with your statement though.  In fact I think pretty much any game SNES-era onwards can potentially still look very good.

Aspro you could also get forza 3 for dirt cheap now.  Judging by how much more than GT4 I liked the first Forza, I wouldn't be surprised if Forza 3 is still better than GT5
