With this many images of what is clearly the same console, coming from all of these different sources, I’m starting to think that they may be the real deal, after all. What do you think?



Update: DaimyoNintendo pointed out in the comments that judging by the size of the cables, it’s nowhere near the size of an Xbox 360 (though you should note that that’s only rumoured, too).

Huh...so I guess this is the real deal. Well its not a bad shape, it just looks super plain because its a test unit. I do hope its not going to be white/ have the same colors as Wii though. It does look bigger in this particular pic, though still smaller than a 360 slim? I don't see how they could make such a powerful console that small without being more expensive to make.

I get this feeling too and I own the system. I'm sitting around twiddling my thumbs waiting for better games to play. And the system is expensive as it is.

It desperately needs Zelda and Resident Evil STAT.

According to Iwata they concentrated on 3DS to such an extent that it left the impression that Wii was dead. He says it's not the case and it will be supported for another year with much more content.

Games we already know about are New Kirby, Rhythm Paradise, Inazuma Eleven Strikers, Mario & Sonic With the Olympic Games of London 2012, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Xenoblade and Last Story.

Wii play motion too I guess. Nintendo announce games at E3 for the first time and then launch before Christmas so we could have a couple of decent Wii games for the holidays.

Anyhow, Retro say they aren't doing Metroid or Eternal Darkness. No offence to DKC returns, but I hope it's not a sequel to that game. I would prefer an original first person title.

While it doesn't really affect us, it's also worth mentioning that Epic Mickey still hasn't been released in Japan yet. So that's one more big title for them.

Yeah but the thing will be used for a lot more than just looking at the same game as what's on the TV I'm sure. That's likely the most basic use. I expect it to be used for inventory managment and similar things to the DS's 2nd screen.

Oh and imagine the fucking porn on this thing? Talk about discreet!
