Since it was brought up in the forum and during the podcast I figured I'd take a shot at figuring out what the 3DS attach rate in Japan is. So I skimmed through the last year's worth of Media Create sales and made a chart. When I say skimmed, let me be very clear, I SKIMMED it. I probably missed quite a bit, but as far as forum stastics go, I still think this paints a somewhat accurate picture.

That total could probably be bumped up by 10% to 15%. Maybe....  Regardless though I don't think there's more than another million sold 3DS games out there (not including downloadable titles). So there ya go. Approximately a 1.4 to 1.6 attachment rate in Japan. Not terribly good. However it's well worth mentioning that over the past couple months 3DS titles have utterly dominated the media create charts, and it doesn't seem like that will stop anytime soon. So I think over the next few months the attachment rate will climb very steadily, now that there's no shortage of good software for it.

Well its a more powerful system, so isn't this what it SHOULD be doing?

Just played the demo's for SSX and Binary Domain. SSX is good shit, Binary Domain is just shit.

Nah. SSX Blur was one of the better SSXs. The game can't be blamed for people not being able to use the motion controls properly.
