In The Night Garden. I'd take that over The Teletubbies because, like you said, it's actually fairly creepy. The Teletubbies is something that should be creepy, but just isn't.

My nephews are obssessed with this show. The damned thing is a phenom, they have toys, shampoo, books, dvds. There was even a live show they went to. I took him to a shopping center and there was this boat with that blue character in it. He went nuts and hugged this damned plastic statue and held its hand while this motorised boat moved and played a song. There was this mom behind us with her kid and she was giving my nephew daggers cause we got there first.

Eurogamer Caught LYING About Wii U Power

Was SEGA referring to the Wii U's power or specifically Sonic and All-Stars Racing Transformed in this statement?

I didn't notice this when I posted the story on Thursday.

Eurogamer had this headline:

Sega: Wii U graphics on-par with PlayStation 3, "maybe even better"

Giving the impresion that the developer had said that the Wii U hardware was on par with PS3. But that's not what was actually said. If you read the first two lines of the article carefully:

British developer Sumo Digital's new Sonic racer is graphically "on-par" with current generation consoles - "or maybe even better", according to publisher Sega.


Sega marketing exec Ben Finch made the comment to Eurogamer as we tested out the Wii U version of Sonic and Sega All-Stars Racing Transformed at Gamescom.

They were saying specifically that the Wii U version of Sonic Racing was on par with PS3 or maybe even better, they were not making a statement on the hardware's graphical power at all. Eurogamer turned that into a power article somehow.

Eurogamer have edited it now:

Sega: Sonic and Sega All-Stars Racing Transformed Wii U graphics on-par with PlayStation 3 version, "maybe even better"

UPDATE: We've updated the headline of this article to better reflect the content of the story. Sega was referring to the visuals of Sonic and Sega All-Stars Racing Transformed on Wii U compared to the visuals of the other versions, not the graphics capabilities of the Wii U itself. Sorry for the confusion this has caused.
