I liked the self-referential humor when it started. Now it's been over twenty years of nothing but. I just think it could be used in a more measured way.  Also, in my comment I excluded video games from abusing it, so I probably would not mind it. I enjoyed The Bard's Tale mostly for that reason.

Mmk. Unless you're an avid point and click adventure game player then none of it should really grate within the context of a game. If you are then some of the adventure game jokes might piss you off.

Is that second cover for the same game?

I think GG was asking about the quality of the 3DS XL screen. I am holding both next to each other and the 3DS screen does seem smoother, looks much sharper while the XL seems less so. Its a little like HD to SD, very little but it is a loss of resolution. But who cares this XL screen is HUGE, WOW! And the XL system feels so much better to hold.

Pikmin are transferring my data from on 3ds to the other.

There are two reasons why I'm not at all interested in this game despite my love for Fighting games.

A. I hate and will not play fighting games on handheld consoles. They simply do not work anywhere near as well as their console counterparts. During tense moments it's too easy to get jerky with the controls during a big fight. When it's a controller that's fine, but when you end up moving the entire screen it's a problem.

B.  Generally I'm not a fan of these kinds of mash-ups. Its generally the sign of "we've got no more ideas so let's start teaming up our characters." As much as I enjoyed getting to fight with some Marvel characters in the MvC3 games, it was a very average game. Street Fighter X Tekken was also kind of fun, but still felt like a step backwards from SSFIV.

So yeah I'm going to pass.

This game doesn't seem to be running out of ideas though. In addition to it's 200 playable characters the game appears to have full 3D environments with FF Tactics like maps and gameplay which is then interspersed with traditional one on one fighting. It's got some awesome characters in there, Ulala, Jill Valentine, Dante and tons more.
