I know this is gonna sound elementary, but are you sure you charged the battery long enough after it ran out? From the first time you posted about the issue to the time you decided it was dead didn't seem like that long a time. I could be wrong. I would charge the sucker for 4 hours or so, after removing and replacing the battery, then try the old holding the Power button on the Pad down for 30 seconds trick to see if it resets. They said originally that the Pad last for like 3 hours, but takes 6 hours or so to charge, or something ridiculous like that, and an hour or so charging probably would be enough to boot it fresh, imo.

I normally just charge it while i play. That's what I tried to do...the battery light started flashing that it needed to be charged, so i plugged it in while i was playing and it didn't do anything....THEN i turned the system off and the controller hasn't worked since.

Gonna call Nintendo in a few.

Okay, robio. I tried Dive: The Medes Islands Secret Wiiware demo. Now I remember why I didn't like the game: no penalty for death. Meaning, I collected a bunch of treasures, and I drown. I restarted back at the last checkpoint, but I still have all of those treasures I collected just before I died. This makes death meaningless, and takes away most of the challenge. If it weren't for that issue, I'm certain I would have enjoyed it.

I'm so upset about it, that its almost funny. lol

I always get fucked on launch consoles...though this is the first time I've EVER had trouble with a Nintendo product. At least they gave me no grief.....I was swearing into the phone a few times when i had to deal with Microsoft.

The dude told me the turnaround should be very fast.

Yeah that's pretty lousy to hear Edge. I wonder how much of a problem this may end up being for Nintendo. It'll be interesting to see what the next few months bring.

Of course you can play it while plugged in. Its just a bit annoying especially in games where you have to move the pad around.

Leo I play with it plugged in all the time, never had an issue.
