I was waiting for a download and started playing Roller Coaster Tycoon (the original).

Forty minutes later... "huh, what?"

Amazing legs this game has if you like simulation games (less than $3 on gog.com this weekend).

Sounds like a blast actually.  I bet there is very little vegan food at disneyworld though.  and the beer probably sucks.

In the Magic Kingdom part of Disney World (the castle part that everyone immediately thinks of) I think that may be fair. There's only one restaurant in that particular park that even serves alcohol. EPCOT is an entirely different story though. Excellent restaurants, good quick counter service, and the booze is actually of good quality (provided you didn't stop to drink in the American pavillion where they offer our country's finest.... Budweiser (and Sam Adams which is actually acceptible). The vegan options are pretty widely available provided you go to the sit-down restaurants (there's decent counter-service options but those are more limited). There's actually one ride called The Land, that's basically a giant hydroponic farm where they have a restaurant that serves the food that's grown in the ride. Kinda cool. The main rule for vegetarians or vegans though is to stay the hell away from the Chinese pavillion as they're apparently very bad about using chicken stock in everything, right down to the soda.

Disney very happy with early sales of Disney Infinity

No surprise about this. If Disney nurtures this correctly they're going to have a money maker that should last for several years. And I've got a feeling it'll be the "hot holiday toy" this Christmas. And that makes me sad because as the father of a 7 year old I know he's starting to get very very interested in it, and inevitably we're going to have to get it.

There was also a quote in the article that made me laugh when they were "While Rasulo didn't talk specific numbers, he did say that the average age of players, which is 13, is older than they expected and that the game even has a "certain percent" of users over 20."

That part about the "certain percent of users over 20 just seemed like they wanted to add something that said, "and we are very scared of these people."

Aussie-Bro...?

Listened to a tiny bit of your Saints Row IV impressions on your podcast...

...

...Errrrr

...

...make sure you update your impressions once you actually get into the actual game. If you're talking about weapons, cars and customization, YOU AIN'T SEEN NUTHIN' YET! Saying SRIV is just like SR the Third is like saying Mario Galaxy 2 is just like Mario 64. There's just soooooooooooo much more!

As long as there is beer and fries I can survive.

Yeah, I am 4 hours in.  When we recorded that I had had the game for exactly 2 hours before we started.  Fuller impressions next week, if not final thoughts, I am hoping to beat it this week.
