Anyone who even considers Limbo as an option for their favorite game and names 'skill' as one of the reasons as to why he or she would consider it, loses all credibility right then, right there.

But yeah, you can hardly consider a macbook a rig.  On the other hand, it's nice to know that game development these days has such a low level of entry that basically anyone can do it.  On the other hand, it's reassuring that there are other tresholds to keep the mindless masses from entering, or we'd be flooded with junk as has happened to the internet at large.

We want to show that it's possible to develop a full-featured game because it has 60 tracks, 16 cars, multiplayer, local 2 and 4 player splitscreen, online multiplayer, hero mode... it's like a full featured game, but it's on the eShop. I think that's the way to go, and even for Nintendo that's something special. We think we can put something special out there, and we hope you can support us to bring those kinds of games in the future.

edit: I read the interview and I think it's a mistake on behalf of whoever transcribed it.  He mentions 16 tracks earlier in the interview.
