I like Namco games so this interests me. Possible Tekken 7 and Pokken Tournament ports.
Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiidge Raaaaaaaaaaaaacer!!!
I can see the current Smash Bros. being ported over with all dlc included plus perhaps a few returning characters from previous Smash games.
The tweet comes from the CEO of analytics company. Who has a reliable track record.
I'm 99.99% certain that the NX will be released this year with a port of the new Zelda Wii U game as well.
NX will be released this year. I'd bet the console would release before the handheld.
One of the site's forefathers.
Yep, probably this. All the levels from both versions, all the DLC, and maybe the Ice Climbers who I believe were made at one point but required too much from the processor to properly work on the 3ds.
I need a gif with Trump doing one of his "YA FIRED!" vids then mashing the button.

Just want to play a little XBOX.
I wonder if Raven will give any TR impressions.
^Hopefully, but I am pretty sure they will be favorable.
Personally, I am fighting the urge to download it. If I was not knee deep in The Witness I would.
Yes, hatever NX is comes out this year, but I don't buy into the staggered release of the handheld and console components (even if that is what it is -- who knows). They would lose a lot of momentum releasing one without the other, and frankly, even releasing both at the same time is Wii U all over agan, it;s going to confuse the fuck out of parents unless it is a mobile with a hdmi dongle packed in. If someone has to buy an handheld AND and home console it's lights out on NX.
Yes, gamestop is going to be a publisher. And a janitorial service. And a hand/ blow job provider, and for a few bucks more will do anal.
And since I was at imgur:
Agreed on a staggered release being a bad move, unless they release the home console first (with bundled in handheld) and start selling seperate handhelds a little down the line. I don't think it'd be too confusing either, as long as they don't call it the WiiU+. What's complicated about a console where your handhelds can double as a controller?
Last but not least: BOO to the notion of a handheld with a HDMI dongle.
^Agree on some points, but most people are busy, especially parents, and honestly about 40% of people are very, very base, and when you combine the two, the concept of buying more than one thing to make one thing work isgoing to be a real challenge.
Nintendo would be fools to not bundle one handheld in with the console. They can be fools, but I don't think they'd be that foolish. If I picture a situation whereby the WiiU came with a 3DS as a controller, and you could go out and buy seperate 3DS's that would also double as controlelrs, then I can't see that being confusing at all. It's a clear message to sell to people. Much clearer than trying to convey what exactly the WiiU was in any case.
^Yes indeed.
Nintendo is best when original, they have the most unique and authentic views on gaming in the AAA world. But when that creeps into their hardware/ marketing it has been more miss than hit.
My deep dark secret is that I loved Nintendo most when they were courageous on software and safe on hardware (SNES, Gamecube). I just want Nintendo's ideation on games, with a consensus interface (meaning not embarassing specs and a regular fucking controler).
I think the WiiU was a misstep, partially inspired by coming off such a high with the Wii. I think they just assumed it'd be a huge hit all over again. Then they saw it come crumbling down with the rise of tablets thanks to the release of the Ipad in 2010.
I don't think Nintendo will ever make a console with contemporary specs anymore. They've practically given up on 3rd parties, save for deals on exclusives and partnerships, so why bother? All it does it heighten development costs both for them and the few 3rd parties that do show interest in creating games for their platforms. It just doesn't make business sense. The only thing that could change this is Sony and MS coming to the same conclusion. Which is what we're more or less seeing with the PS4 and the Xbone already.
If the NX turns out to be what I expect of it, we're more or less back where we were with the GC. A rather normal console that can work in tandem with their handheld (but with a much lower barrier of entry this time around). I'm very skeptical about them entering a console mid-generation though.
At this point I don't think it's worth this hindsight about the Wii U and speculation about the NX. It'll all be revealed soon anyway.
I think all the news recentely has suggested a portable this year, home console next. That would give Nintendo and 3rd parties time to make more games.
And a decent swansong year for the U.
