Did anyone check out the new trailers for Assassin's Creed Origins?

It is definitely a pretty looking game, I'll give it that. I'm not exactly current on the series, so I can't really tell what's new and what's not. Gameplay still looks like what it's been for a while. Maybe a little more polished. I don't know.... still the setting is fantastic. Might be worth checking out just for that.

Oh and on a non-E3 related note, this weekend I tried out Chrono Trigger: Crimson Echoes. It was a fanmade sequel that got some pretty good word of mouth before S-E killed the project (though it was pretty much done anyway). After Vader's review, I'd been thinking of playing CT again, but I've gone through it so many times that it's tough to want to give it another go. So this seemed like it might be fun.

Jesus Christ.... the writing in this thing. The writing is so fucking terrible. The idea of the story was sadly good enough, but the dialog was painfully bad. And they didn't even try to write Frog in his voice. His first line of dialog was something along the lines of, "you know I always hated that fancy way of speaking." UUuggggghhhh. Well, guess I'll just sit back and wait another 20 years for the official sequel.

And all I could think of was "Who the hell are you talking to?!" Just some weird guy that narrates his own life, talking out loud to himself like a crazy person? So annoying.

Maybe change it to the Xpensive One to fit the theme naming of the Xbox brand.

I got them back. It only disappears when you come to the "GG Weekly" page from clicking on somebody's post. I clicked on your post and they disappeared. I click on the news tab and it comes back.

It was weird the host of the Press Conference pulled out a gun and started firing it into the air to get the "Journalists" to stop applauding.

The whole press conference was a joke and the Journalist in the crowd were actors that were hired by the company. They were making fun of everybody else's press conferences.

The fact you actually needed to clarify that makes me sad.
