I kind of assumed that Nintendo would have struck a deal with Ubisoft to get more of their games on Switch by allowing them to use Mario. It was the only reasonable explanation in my opinion. But if BG&E2 and steep aren't headed to the Switch, I don't know what Nintendo gains from this.
Also, MH XX might not be headed to the west? I don't believe that for a second. If true though, they better not mess up MH World.

All I could think about when watching the trailer was "how the hell can his suit blink?"
Watching the Xeno 2 treehouse demo.
Why does this look worse graphically than XCX? There is N64 like fog in this section. I don't like the character models so far. The animation too, looks more like Xeno 1 than XCX.
Oh right they say there is a lot of polish left to be done and explain that its being worked on, graphics wise etc.
Tons of grass. Nice. There are various Titans you can explore. You can summon a blade from a core crystal. You have blades and drivers, blades bestow skills and power to the driver. You have 3 man teams.
Yup, it's Xenoblade, no need to watch more.
Sly Cooper Animated Series coming from the company behind the Sonic Boom animated series
I was excited until I saw what Sly Cooper is going to look like on that show.
Why couldn't they have used assets from the game to make the show. Sly Cooper looks great in the game.

Nintendo says all their games are focused on the gameplay first.
Polishing the graphics is the last thing Nintendo and their developers focus on.

Watching Splatoon 2 videos
New map looks cool. Like a more urban, courtyard like Flounder heights. Regular splat roller can hoof it now. Ah the salmon run video is too small to see anything. Bailing.
It's a different art direction, but I thought it looked ok. It's celshaded, you're never going to get the same level of detail we enjoyed in XCX. That said, I wasn't a fan of the art direction of XCX either. I haven't played all of it yet (still need to get back to it some day) but I found it to be an ugly game.

The game is big, it's almost Zelda like in the space you are running in.
