I've started playing the original DK Country. My god it's a boring game.
I liked the first but I can't play the sequels for more than 7mins.They should have called it Xbox Gold S

I guess I can play the first because of nostalgia. But the sequels I never played till Wii VC. BTW guys Little Acres is really good. Much better than I thought it would be for such a cheap price. Great voice acting too, especially from the little girl. One moment had me laughing SO hard. Animation and backgrounds are great. Also it mixes control methods, sometimes you have direct control of the character and all the click points are assigned to buttons. It's pretty cool. If you like graphic adventures, go for it. It's probably 1 dollar in the sale in America.I’m not interested in those cheap Switch games. That’s just not how I roll.
I did just pick up a cheap little indie darling for the Switch myself. Not sure if anyone has heard of it but it’s called Monster Hunter Rise. Only $79.99 Canadian and after taxes was only $90.34. What a bargain!
On the Wii U I bought the Journey of an Average Balloon for 10 cents because it was on sale. Even if that price, it's still probably the worst money I've ever spent on a video game. Just because it's cheap, that doesn't mean you need to buy it.View on YouTube

But I'm playing Little Acre right now and it's good. I also read reviews before buying it and it's recommended. I started Syberia 1. Better than I expected and less janky. Looks old but the interface is good. Will continue after Little Acre is done. Also bought Batman Arkham City and Arkham Origins as the Telltale games made me want to play Batman again. Also got Mario Tennis wii u for the nephew's.

Yes, Syberia is annoyingly big.
I just finished I Dream of You and Ice Cream which is apparently on the switch. Great (though a bit easy, with the exception of one which doesn't make sense even after reading a description of how it's meant to work lol) puzzles, so even if you're not into the awesome vibe it's still worth playing.
Bear in mind it's really short, though. 1-3 hours depending on how fast you are.
