Kotaku posted a Toys' R' Us ad indicating a $50 Wii pricedrop at the tail end of September so anybody planning on buying it for their mom or whoever might want to hold off for a bit.

Namco Bandai's formerly Xbox 360-exclusive RPG Tales of Vesperia comes to the PlayStation 3 in Japan this week, along with the real-time strategy sequel Tears to Tiara Gaiden: Avalon no Nazo and the Disgaea 3 expansion episode Raspberyl-hen Hajime Mashita.

Nintendo's Endless Ocean follow-up Forever Blue 2: Umi no Yobigoe and a localization of Sega's The House of the Dead: Overkill are set to arrive for the Nintendo Wii. Nintendo DS releases for this week include Square Enix's Final Fantasy Legend II remake SaGa 2: Hihou Densetsu - Goddess of Destiny, the music synthesizer software upgrade KORG DS-10 Plus, and Namco's Idolm@ster series spinoff title The Idolm@ster: Dearly Stars.

I thought Nintendo would take out Wii-Sports and just sell a stand-alone system. They did that with the NES, SNES, and N64. I think Gamecube was the only system that didn't include a game, right?

N64 didn't include one either, at launch anyway. They did include Donkey Kong 64 with it near the end of its lifespan, though.

Oh. I thought Mario 64 was included. Or did I buy that with the system? I don't remember. My parents bought it for me at that time.
