I seriously doubt either one will be much beyond Wii U. Sony is too hurting money-wise, and MS is too busy copying everything Nintendo does.

The news story about the reasons why the Half-Life 2 art director left Valve is really good. I love people like that. So kind spirited and speaking with nothing but admiration for his former employer and team while at the same time having the balls to leave such a prestigious post to pursue his own vision and new challenges. Wonderfully positive guy. And his art is amazing and still the reason why I'm still trying to play through HL2

That's easy to do when you have an employer that's worthy of admiration.
That demo runs at 5-8 FPS on my rig. As amazing as it looks... I'll stick with The Witcher 2, Battlefield 3, Crysis 2 (And 3) and even Max Payne 3 for graphically advanced games that people can ACTUALLY play.
It's a hideous fairy with horrible colours. Kill it with fire. The close up makes it look even worse. Jesus.
The hair on the neck is a nice touch, though. But they forgot about it on her face.
If you think that's bad... wait 'til you play ArmA II XD .

Interesting Nintendo sales figures:
- 1.86 million units of 3DS sold - Quarter 1?
- 3DS split was Japan - 920,000, The Americas - 420,000, Other - 530,000
So a small country like Japan has sold over twice the number of 3DS units than North America or more than North America and the rest of the world combined

This sucks. I'm so bored. There's a heatwave in London which means I've been unable to leave the flat for the last couple of days (basically since I got back from Scotland). Don't really have the money to go on any more trips. Shouldn't have turned down the chance to have gone sailing again. The freaking Olympics is starting on Friday so I won't be able to go out the door basically ... and I'm stuck here for another ten days with nothing to play. I'm missing my consoles so much. I also made the stupid decision of bringing the DS with me instead of the 3DS thinking I have so many more DS games than 3DS games it's bound to be more use. Like fuck, I have no DS games I want to play, and there's no chance of finding anything useful at the shops. At least if I had 3DS I could have played more Pushmo or Mario Tennis ... or something I'm still not bored of.
Oh well ... I have my university textbooks on Quantum Electrodynamics and Representation Theory I could always try reading
