I think that's the very reason why this game is so good. The levels are so large and so packed with paths that it tosses aside the concept of "the ideal path" and puts more emphasis on exploration, skill, and reflexes. For that matter I'd like to see the next 2-D Mario take a note from this game and make levels that are overwhelmingly large and focus in on these things instead of just grabbing coins.

All that said GG I had not seen the CryEngine 3 vid and that is amazing. Ok so now the MGS footage is the second most impressive game footage I have seen. I am just happy that we have a clear view at what next gen is going to look like. I can't wait. Remember all this is just the first generation graphics of next gen.
