Doom is hanging out in a lounge with The Last Guardian, trolling us.
I always turned off the music in PC Doom. Sounded to generic. PS1 Doom had fantastic background sound/music.

EDIT: I just heard it, WTF was that. I played the PS1 version I dont remember that crap. Its generic horror movie music.

Going by this chart, it seems the Gamecube actually was Nintendo's best START to a console ever....but they got fucked hard by the Xbox hype train. If there was no Xbox, things would have been very different for the Gamecube. I don't think it would have come close to PS2's popularity, but I definitely think it would have gotten at least 50 million sales. It would have gotten the shooter crowd as well as the high end console crowd, and probably Halo as well.

I remember when they used to put Magic the Gathering on ESPN3. Talk about a gilded age. From that point on for about 6 years I always kept tabs on EPSN3 just in case a Magic game would break out.
