Nope. It's pretty much exactly the same game with a new coat of paint. I was hoping the cave and dungeons wouldn't have so many repeating elements but alas, no. It's easy to get lost without the map, just like the original.

This weekend has been exclusively Oblivion Remastered (PS5) for me. I've put in around 10 hours so far. The game has its issues but I'm loving it anyway; I wasn't sure I would initially. It's Oblivion, warts and all, and it's still a lot of fun. The DuelSense force feedback is great when riding a horse; you can feel all four hooves hitting the ground independently and on different surfaces too. I don't know why I enjoy that effect so much but I do. I only notice it when riding a horse, though.
It’s been all Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 for me this weekend. Finally into Act 3 of the game now and am doing as much side stuff before beating it. Also watched WWE Backlash. Was a good show.
I started Metroid Fusion this weekend through my Nintendo Online subscription. I haven't played this game since it was first released, so almost twenty three years ago. I'm probably about halfway done right now and am enjoying this old school Metroid game.
That's actually not a surprise, because that's pretty much how the original went for me as well. I'd play hit a wall, take an extended break, and then give it another go, get super lucky and breeze through it. But in the I've mean time, my teams have fallen apart way too many times on the third chapter and it doesn't feel like I'm making progress right now. So I might be switching over to ultros soon.
