The only game I've ever played in the Tales series was the first, or at least the first that was released in the west, Tales of Eternia. I've always wondered if I was missing out, but I suppose no matter how much you play you're always going to miss out on something.
So it looks like Expedition 33 was the runaway winner at the Golden Joystick awards (and I still don't entirely understand what the hell those are). It was already on my list of games to get, but I suppose now I need to bump it up a little bit higher in the queue. Maybe that will be this year's Thanksgiving game.
Never got around to getting the original Tales of Berseria so am looking forward to the remaster.
