Well that certainly sucks. Did not expect Microsoft to be the first to follow Nintendo in pricing so quickly. I subscribe to Game Pass though so that’ll continue to work for me. They’ll probably be raising its price as well unfortunately.

As far as I know, Mario Kart World is the only $80 game. I'm sure they next Zelda will be too. All the other games range from $50 to $70 that I've seen.



Gamepass has no price increase so far, but might go up.

Microsoft is doing the “variable pricing” thing as well. Not all their first party games are going to be $80.

Game Pass is definitely going to go up in the near future.

There should be an industry wide agreement that the price of a game should be equal to its score on metacritic.
