Nvidia's CEO has confirmed that the US chip giant will build its huge campus for up to 10,000 employees in Israel, Kiryat Tivon.

Nvidia CEO and founder Jensen Huang said, "Israel is home to some of the world's most brilliant technologists and has become Nvidia's second home. Our new campus will be a place where our teams can collaborate, invent, and build the future of AI. This investment reflects our deep and enduring commitment to our families in Israel and their unique contributions to the AI era."

The company has bought Israeli startup Mellanox in 2016, and since then bought 4 more in the country, with its offices spreads across Israel. Nvidia also plans to build one of the biggest data centers in middle-east in Israel, with a new super-computer for its own use.

Jensen has shown great support, always mentioning Avinatan Or in quarterly briefings, an employee, who was kidnapped with his girlfriend Noa Argamani on 10/7. She was rescued in a daring operation, while he was released just a few months ago after 738 days in captivity

I’ve been saying that Nintendo needs to provide more options for smaller card sizes. Glad to see that they are listening to me. Nyaa

On that note, Buck Rogers was a good show, but Even more so was the Atari game. Definitely one of my favorites for the platform.

I've been aware of that game for years, but I haven't played it yet. It's on arcade, 2600 and 5200. Unfortunately, I don't own a copy. Arcade version looks really cool. Star wars trench run vibes.

The price difference is tiny.

It's cost doesn't seem dependent on size. It's just an expensive format whatever the size. Now flash memory prices are also being inflated, I'd expect to see more game key cards.

Oh do you guys know the ins and outs of your TV settings?

I used Google AI to ask about how to set HDR correctly on my model.

It actually revealed that the tv has this option that wasn't enabled.

On the external device manager there's a input signal plus option, for the HDMI. This opens up the port for the full bandwidth, which is needed for good HDR apparently. The port I was using didn't have that enabled.

I haven't tested it yet but it's quite interesting, as I'd never heard of it before.

You're doing it wrong.

Stay in bed, play games do nothing else.

Maybe shower later.

Maybe.

ININ games just made a post about their game key card R Type 3 release.

They said now Nintendo is offering smaller cards for switch 2, they are now releasing it physically. But it's €10 more than the game key card would have been.

cheaper and better than dealing with Limited Run Games at least.

They fixed Skyrim Switch 2.

Latency is gone, mouse controls work fine. Framerate has risen, never drops below 30 but most of the time it's somewhere between 32 to 36 fps.

I picked up myself a little Christmas gift. NES Endings Compendium Volume 2: 1990. I picked up volume one last year which covered all the NES games from its launch through 1989. And here's the interesting little factoid I learned. More games were released for the NES in 1990 then every previous year combined.

It's an extremely well curated look at these games with a summary, details on the ending, and when applicable, some comparisons with the Japanese version. The author even frames things up with some details from the Japanese instruction manuals that in some cases dramatically change up the story. For instance, Castlevania 3 has a darker backstory, especially in regards to Alucard. And Dracula's third form in the game is directly related to that darker backstory. And perhaps Darkest of all was that in Japan, Trevor's name was actually Ralph. That's right, he was named after vomit.

Layers of Fear masterpiece edition is out on switch 2.

Saw a video, looks great, has mouse controls, runs at 60fps.

I know it's a game with mostly corridors but an UE5 game on Switch 2 at 60fps is pretty nice.

It does have some aliasing, though much improved over the Switch 1 edition.

Digital Foundry did this whole review of Skyrim Switch 2.

Then like the next day they patched it.

Anything cool in there about StarTropics?
