One other fun fact for you. While the show was in its original run, Adam West and Bert Ward would go to orgies and sex parties in costume, and would give the women an opportunity to actually have sex with Batman and Robin.

How altruistic of them.

I just heard that Digital foundry went independent.  That's huge news. Between this and the influx of new staff at EG, who in my opinion clearly have a different style of writing, since the ign takeover I'm not sure how much of pre IGN EG still remains. Sad times for a long time fan of the site like me.

Im over 230 hours into Cyberpunk and started experimenting.

I transported a body in the back of my van, drove it to my building.

Slung it over my shoulder and walked in. The cops gave me the side eye but didn't attack.

It wouldn't let me call an elevator until I laid the body down.

But then when the elevator opened I picked up the corpse and went in.

On my floor all the NPCs started panicking and flooding out in horror like swarming rats.

Then when I got the body into my apartment the game doesn't let you carry them.

It just flopped onto the ground.

I want to see if, 6 hours later or whatever if the body remains.

If it does I may stash 1 corpse per apartment owned lol.

Creepy but hilarious.

EDIT: It didn't work. Body is gone now.

Also picked up some iconic weapons that are exclusive to Phantom Liberty dlc. A lot of them have significant downsides to them and the benefits don't out weigh them.

One thing I hate is the game has cool coloured weapons, but their stats aren't great. So you either have more powerful boring weapons or weak cool looking ones.

Anyone trying out the Drag x Drive test run? Kids are having a blast with it. You can say what you want about the artstyle, but it sure is a novel concept.

Im avoiding it.

I just had first person sex with a man in Cyberpunk, just so I could gain access to a DLC car.

Then lol this mechanic who now hates me as I missed a turn in the final race, so she couldn't murder the guy who killed her husband, now sends me text message abuse when I ask her how to fix the car.

Been mainly playing Donkey Kong Bananza this weekend. Just beat the Blusterwing boss and am at Sublayer 1000. Game is really damn awesome and just a whole lot of fun.

Im at exactly the same point.

I think its great fun but I've realised why I can't play it all in one go.

There's a bit of tedium when you get distracted and just start digging. And the digging doesn't always result in getting an item or finding a secret.

If you just follow the objective markers, from one to the next the pacing is great. When you get sidetracked by the digging, you're kinda wasting time, yet there digging itself still feels compulsive.

I've been mostly playing Forza Motorsport 8 (XSS) and a little bit of Heretic (PC) and Spy Hunter (arcade/XSS) this weekend.

It's a shame Forza Motorsport 8 looks like a PS360 720p/60 game on Series S. It's still fun to play, damn do I wish I could play it an Series X or PC instead. Lesson learned.

I didn't play much this weekend.  I did the tutorial of the Drag x Drive demo, which was surprisingly good.  The driving itself feels great, with the rumble in the weels giving you subtle feedback.  There are many tricks to perform while dunking, which not only looks cool, but also give you a small extra score which can end up deciding who wins or loses.  Only thing that could hold it back is if nobody ever passes the ball, as you're being paired with strangers.  There are a few minigames to partake in too, and for a game that is so dark, there's a surprising amount of splashes of colour.  My son will be getting this regardless in a couple of days and I might end up playing it a lot more than I first anticipated.

As for Bananza, I'm currently on a hiatus untill the youngest has beaten it.  Everyone in our household has now joined in on the fun, with even the wife playing.  She's very prone to giving in to compulsive impulses, so she's been totally obliteraring stages, often with no clue of where she is or where she needs to go, but hey, she's enjoying it and slowly making progress.  I just hope the Switch2 is sturdy enough to survive her hammering all those facebuttons all the time.

Yes the constant punching does give me thumb fatigue. Thankfully the elephant fixes that.

I wish there wasn't a time limit on the transformations as I tend not to use the zebra or bird.

And they could have a better method for animal swaps, a weapon wheel for instance.

Still hoping King Krool shows up.

If I have one big complaint about the game it's the lack of familiarity.  It has the feel of a Rareware N64 game, but aside from some easter eggs they tossed everything out except for DK himself.  Would it really have hurt them to add in a full stage that actually looked like a jungle out of the SNES games?  There are a few mini challenges that look like that and they are glorious.

Finished Donkey Kong Bananza and such an awesome game. Amazing final stretch there at the end. I got tons left to do for the post game as I took a somewhat straightforward path through the game. Easily a very strong GotY contender. Another 10/10 for me.

The Kong family shows up, and Rambi.

I haven't even tried to max out each layer yet.

I imagine there's lots of post game content for me to get through.

Me either. There’s probably a really good amount of endgame content from what I can tell.

About a month ago, I posted a commercial for the original NES Legend of Zelda that was based on the game's manual. The guy who made it has some animation AI program and he churned out an extremely high quality commercial that was far better than anything Nintendo actually released to promote the game.

Apparently it's now becoming a hobby for this guy and he released another commercial. This time he used the manual for Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link.

Once again the visuals are great, but The voiceover wasn't quite as good. Then again, you could also argue that was par for the course for video game commercials of the era. So maybe it is good. Accurate at least.

I'm sorry you think that.

It was still better than the guy in the black turtleneck pretending he was in the game.
