There are those few games that come out which defines a console. PS3 has Uncharted 2 and Metal Gear Solid 4 when it was first shown, 360 has Gears of War (when it first came out which was amazing), Wii has Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2, and the PSP has this, Peace Walker.

I still can't get over how amazing the controls are implemented to work on the PSP. Also, the graphics are incredible! Kojima really is a master at what he does.

No Castlevania: Lords of Shadow on Wii/DS because dev didn't want to do a 'family friendly' version

The reason we didn’t do Wii or DS, or anything else like that, is because we wanted to bring it into the mainstream. And in many ways mainstream gaming is Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. We didn’t want to do a family friendly version. This is a pretty dark game and just wouldn’t work on the Nintendo systems. - developer Dave Cox

I still have my DC hooked up with all my games intact. I love replaying Headhunter and the Shenmues, Crazy Taxi and Jet Set Radio.

Still, how hard would it be to give the sensible answer? We have budget and manpower for one game, making a Wii version would mean making a whole different game since the engine and assets cannot be reused, thus we didn't.

Exactly. There are many reasons not to make a Wii skew, but having to make a family friendly version is a stoopid excuse.

Yeah, mine is ready to go, it's just I don't hold much hope of it holding up.  The back-up DC I got died, and my current one sounds terrible.
