Yeah for some reason, something is missing there. I know that when you have 80+ games not all will be good, but none of those screenshots excite me. In all fairness, I'd need to see some video to make the call though. But I'm not as excited as I was when the game was first announced.
In all, maybe not as bad as THQ but still quite funny

Even Fragile ended up as a 6/10 game at a lot of review sites. Symphonia 2 is bad compared to Vesperia and even Symphonia 1. And it took them like over a year to translate it.
Mine has shipped.
"The original was already so close to perfection there were no real faults to address, but those who complained it was too easy may well regret their words in the final special stages. Graphically the game is so far ahead of any other Wii title that if it weren't for the limitations of resolution you'd swear it was on the 360 or PS3. Although in terms of art design and atmosphere it already surpasses almost every other game this generation. The glorious orchestral soundtrack unquestionably so."
From the Gamecentral review^
Thoughts?
So the new Mortal Kombat will have the "deepest story mode of any fighting game." That either means absolutely nothing or it's a sign for disaster. How many fighting games have great stories? And those that do to try to incorporate a story usually end up having it suffer in the gameplay.
It's a fair comment. Galaxy has probably been the best looking game on the Wii and this is even a small step above that. And it is a harder game. I haven't come across anything too hard yet (I only have 35 stars), but I have come across levels where I died repeatedly, up to 6 times which is saying something.
If I recall the story the two were mortal enemies, and prior to the original Mortal Kombat Sub Zero killed Scorpion. Scorpion made a deal to come back to life and killed Sub Zero in the first tournament.
In MK II Sub Zero comes back, but it turns out its actually his brother. And seeing how this Sub Zero is more merciful Scorpion decides to protect him during the events of MKIII when his clan tries to kill him for not becoming a Robot Ninja like Cyrax and the others.
After that I stopped playing the games as the 3-D ones never held my interest.
De Blob 2 screens don't do anything for me but maybe it's just bad grabs. The first was charming.
Deus Ex 3 looks and sounds smexy but the media hyped Invisible War as well so I'm not convinced yet.

Yeah. They needed more warioware or some of the more interesting wiifit games. This looks a little boring.
They better redesign that cover.
YES!!!! Now that is the MK I know.
Is it E3 already cause all I see are new games being revealed.

What? So you're excited about MK but don't care for Super Street Fighter IV?

I have always been a MK fan. Back in the day SF couldn't hold a candle to MK fever.
I think SFII fans would say the same thing!
Ah, memories. Bunch of punk kids (including myself) crowding around a SFII arcade machine in a liquor store only to get beaten by a 5 year old who beat the crap out of all of us, LOL!

All I can say is, "Wow!"
There are those few games that come out which defines a console. PS3 has Uncharted 2 and Metal Gear Solid 4 when it was first shown, 360 has Gears of War (when it first came out which was amazing), Wii has Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2, and the PSP has this, Peace Walker.
I still can't get over how amazing the controls are implemented to work on the PSP. Also, the graphics are incredible! Kojima really is a master at what he does.
This game is a masterpiece.
I know some of us here don't have PSPs, and I agree and understand why you guys wouldn't want one. But for what it's worth, it's games like these that make the PSP worth having.
It's fantastic!
