I don't know if Dvader likes online shooters. Do you play online, Leo? If you get a chance to check out Transformers online, post impressions!

As a Sonic fan, I would have guessed you had a more adventurous spirit.
Anyways, not having reviews doesn't mean that you're blind, unless you are a poor researcher on the games you want.
So I'm like, that sounds like a thread I made in a collecting union four or five years ago at gamespot, one which I started after getting a 32X game named, "36 Great Holes with Fred Couples", which sounded as perverse as the 3DO game "Fatty Bear's Birthday Surprise".
Then they have a submission from someone from the collecting union I was in and they said they had had this thread going for a while and submitted two suggestions -- including the game that started it all.
Okay, so not so interesting, but it was bizarre to listen to just after I had that thought.

Oooh...
I guess the good thing about this year's E3 was that so many different games are being listed as attendees most anticipated game.
But man, the people who liked Civ5 REALLY liked Civ5.
Research can only give you so much info. Previews cant tell you how well a game holds up from beginning to end. It cant tell you if the final product is a glitchy mess. It cant tell you if the game is like 6 hours long. It cant tell you if the game is one note from beginning to end with almost no variety. And on the flip side it cant tell you if it is a masterpiece that must be played.
All you are going by is basically demo impressions, screenshots and PR talk. Now since we know many series and devs we can get a good sense of a game before hand just by reputation alone. That doesn't work for all games.
What is that?!

Listen to Wu-Tang and watch Kung-Fu
I think it's even the same gun in all three screens!
But to consider that an accurate representation of the industry as a whole is naive. The offerings are more varied than ever, across many, many genres.
Now of course I am not representing some kind of average of gaming consumption but these are the titles I've bought and enjoyed this year: Dante's Inferno, Red Steel 2, New Super Mario Bros Wii, Silent Hill: Shattered Memories, Endless Ocean 2, Battlefield: Bad Company 2, Super Mario Galaxy 2, Final Fantasy VII (PSN) and House of the Dead: Overkill. I would say that's pretty varied and all of the above are great games.
Yeah I agree. To say that those 3 games sum up the state of the video game industry is silly.

Unwholesome Online Games Banned By China's Ministry of Culture.
You know... someone should publish a Chinese version of Orwell's 1984 specifically for the Chinese Communist Party. I know they wouldn't want the citizenry to have access to it, but they should read it just so they can be aware that they need to change the names of their creepy government departments.
