Basically its a comparison to the LBP calculator which was a million times more complex in LBP1, he is showing how much easier it is in LBP2.

It won't be useless when that turns into some crazy math game or some mega puzzle or who knows what else. Someone will make Brain Age in LBP.

That’s an 8 bit parallel access store, typically used for mainting values locally in registers in CPUs. The key is that you set the values you want, jump on the button, and they get ‘saved’.  Awesome!

From there you can build integer units – crucially, all using a controlled store. Unlike the calculator level in LBP1, this allows you to create sequential instructions that operate on cycles – effectively a CPU, combined with indexable controlled store – aka ram. Plonk on top of that a grid of square lights…. aka pixels.

Sounds impressive whatever it is, I am sure it will be used in some crazy way. Best part is once its all done he can pit it into a microchip and share it with the community so none of us have to do the work.

 I have no fucking idea of what did I just see, or read. But I'm confident it will translate into awesome user created levels for my enjoyment.

I'm not arguing anything about computer science, I am saying stuff like that will be used to make great tools for levels.
