It's been a rough week for some of us with the PSN worries and all. Hopefully, this will bring a smile to your face. Fans of the eighties need to check out 5:40 and 10:35.
I would love someone to steal my identity, please take all my student loans with you.
Oh and just try to use credit with my name muahahahah.
I really hope you are enjoying the city this time!
You are prolly enjoying it more than I am in the last few weeks!
I wish I could direct you to some cool places, but I don't really do the touristy stuff!
When do you head back?
NYC is the greatest city in the world, its amazing. Its so alive, so busy, so diverse, its like everything is there. Anyway I got to see NBC studios at 30 Rock, I did the tour so I got to see the SNL set. I walked all over times square and took broadway all the way to the empire state building didnt get to do the ride up due to time. Then took a subway to the Mueseum of Natural History, I only saw the lobby which had a dinosaur so that was good enough for me. Then I walked around central park which is beautiful and smells really nice with all the flowers around. I ate at a random pizza place, very good pizza. I saw Grand central station on the way out, its incredible to see in person. Their public transportation is fantastic, I got everywhere I wanted to go by simply entering a hole in the ground and paying 2 bucks. Trains come constantly, there is no waiting, so awesome. So I did as much I could and I barely scratched the surface, definetly going to take a real vacation over here one day.
I work in the city tomorrow so no real sight seeing and I have to drive so i am probably getting in and out of there as fast as possible. I leave friday.
JEEBUS! I guess you had a day or days where you didn't have to work then?! You fit A LOT in there!
I am busier than I have been in weeks of course, and probably won't have any real free time until Friday night...
I'm going to be going to bed very soon tonight even...
Live Podcast may happen one day... prolly not anytime soon though...
I'm glad you're lovin' the city though!
Holy crap Sony is screwed. This has now passed RROD as biggest screw up this gen. This is only the beginning.
Homer who is John Luther, and what show is better than The Wire?
Oh, you read my Twitter?
John Luther is a character on a British crime show known as Luther. The dude who plays him, Idris Elba, plays the character of Stringer Bell in the Wire. He also plays the role of Helheim in the new Thor movie.
My original XBox just cracked my brand new Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks CD.
Not happy.
I've decided to play Mario Bros. So far I've gotten up to 3-4.
=-=
Shaolin Monks is an action-adventure game that spans the events of Mortal Kombat II, starting with the aftermath of the first Mortal Kombat. The game centers on two members of the Shaolin Order, Liu Kang and Kung Lao, as they travel through the realms in an attempt to thwart Shang Tsung's plans to dominate Earthrealm.
Sony: Credit Card Information Was Encrypted
From the same article though:
"Sony is still refusing to completely rule out any credit card theft, however, stating, 'we cannot rule out the possibility.'"
____________
It's THIS flippy-floppy, maybe yes, maybe no attitude that is driving me nuts!
Shit or get off the pot already Sony! Either admit extreme fuck-ups and make good for them --OR-- just fix everything and SHUT THE FUCK UP!
It was probably stolen, but if it's encrypted it's safe. Frankly if they had CC data unencrypted... I actually don't think it would have been possible for them to find a software engineer that would be that delinquent.
When I was dealing with online-related storage of CC data 10 years ago it was already a well-established standard practice.
Is it safe to assume that Sony's PSN debacle means there will be no new console from them anytime soon? If they lose billions of dollars I can't see them developing PS4. Has PS3 even broken even yet? Bad news for them, good news for Microsoft and especially Nintendo's new machine.

That 3DS tri-Ace game looks interesting... Is it the one initially called Time Travelers? Nm, that's Level-5.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I'd think it would be the opposite. After all the PR troubles they had with the start of the PS3's launch and now coupled with the PSN disaster I'd think they'd want to bury the names of these products as soon as possible and move onto something new and fresh. Even losing billions, they're going to have to consider if it's cheaper to keeping pushing the current products with their damaged reputations or launching something new.
As far as whether or not they've broken even on the PS3, I know that they at least break even or make a profit on each unit sold and have been doing so for over a year. They were losing money on PSN as of very recently though. So overall.... I have no idea.
The Pandora's Tower website has been updated with crappy quality footage of the weapons.
Chain.
Sword/Daggers (Claws?)/Scythe.
Some nice moves. I like how the character sidesteps and stuff, most visible with the sword.
I think I just 100%'d Getting Up.
I say think because on the statistic screen I've got 62/64 freeform challenges, but on the levels the stats show I've got them all. I've also got more legend photos than are listed on the statistic screen, but the correct maximum number is on the levels. So I think the levels are a tad more trustworthy.
Great game. Flawed, but great.
