That Beyond Labyrinth game has some great visuals for 3DS. Some nice ground texture work in one of the pics too.
So I got Nintendogs 3DS at launch, traded it within 2 days for SF4. Then played the hell out of SF4 and traded it back for.... Nintendogs. And I could not be happier.
The 3D effect is miles better than SF4. Because SF4 is a side on fighter it's sets or backgrounds are like 1 cm deep. Nitendogs 3D shows metres of depth and the animals popping out of the screen is hugely impressive, especially the cats. I have begun training my dog. I found out that now when you walk there are various parts of the city you can visit, the mountains, the beack etc and different things you can do in each section. The fur shading on some of the animals, coupled with the 3D effect and animation - is ready great to watch. The voice recog seems more solid this time too and you collect junk on your walks you can have remade into cool toys like helicopters.
I see.
I think it will be like playing with 3DS or DS which are both flat. It's not bad at all. From the pre-release docs we saw which some presumed fake, and from what IGN have been saying - it's a traditional controller with a touch screen in the middle.
It was worth it for full price.
Tri-Ace & Konami.

Great character models, but the backgrounds are worse than Crystal Bearers.
Wii 2 rumours
- Nintendo are planning a full reveal of the console, controller and 1st/2nd party games at E3.
- The console is confirmed to be backwards compatible with all Wii/Gamecube titles, and all your VC games will be transferred over once you link your credit card to the system.
- Many 3rd party developers have development kits who are supposedly hard at work to have something to show (and play) at E3.
- 3rd Parties were involved with the development of the console, with requests for what specifications they’d like to see. As of now (which could change) the system runs of a custom built IBM triple-core CPU and has 2gb RAM. The graphics chip is a custom built Radeon R700 chip.
- There is an internal SSD. Size is unknown at this point.
- It will run natively at 1080p.
- The new controller slightly resembles a Gamecube controller with a large LCD screen in the middle of it. The controller is light for its size and looks like a tablet with Gamecube-like prongs to the side. It has dual analogue sticks, face buttons, d-pad and shoulder buttons. No triggers were on the device.
- The screen on the controller is indeed a 6″ LCD high resolution (reported 640 x 960 pixels) display. However, Nintendo said in order to keep battery life manageable, the controller doesn’t have any hardware to produce graphics itself. The image is simply a video stream directly from the console.
- The controller uses rechargeable lithium ion batteries. Size of the battery is unknown.
- The Wiimote can be used and a new model of Wiimote will be released with the console. This new controller will have overhauled internals allowing for much more precise movement tracking than even the Wiimote Plus had.
- The Project Cafe system development kit is not representative of the final console design. The console is smaller and resembles the Japanese/European SNES models.
- Nintendo have told developers that their online system will be ‘the best online experience’ that’s available on consoles. The whole idea of the machine is to be connected to the internet 24/7. It’s being targeted as an online/social console. Friend codes are gone, but no word on whether the online service will be subscription based.
- The Pokemon RPG is the title Nintendo will be showing off their online experience with.
- As reported by other sources, Nintendo is targeting this console to the hardcore gamers once again.
- Nintendo is planning on some sophisticated inter-game communication between the 3DS and the console. Nintendo didn’t explain what they’re planning on.
To be shown at E3:

Do you have your wii shop linked to your Nintendo web account? When they fixed my wii they deleted all my download games. But since my wii shop channel was linked with the nintendo club thing, it recorded all the games I had and let me redownload them. Also, they gave me like 50 stars per VC game if you fill in a little survey.
Just in case anyone still goes to System Wars.

Nintendo not moving away from buttons on controllers, not interested in utilizing tablets
"Whenever we make a new game console, we've done it without throwing away buttons and the directional pad. The reason for that it's better to have them, because buttons and directional pads benefit gameplay response. Taking this into account, Nintendo isn't planning on completely ditching buttons, nor is Nintendo thinking of taking tablets as they are today and implementing them in a game console." - Satoru Iwata

If they fixed your Wii then you could redownload them regardless of what they may have done. Shop "accounts" are tied to the system, as long as it's the same system it will be recognised by the store & you can download your stuff freely. When they replace your system however, as they did for me, they have to manually add the games/points during that process. Also, the Club account only records purchases done after linking it to the system, it doesn't even check to see what purchases you may have done before linking the account so it's not the best option to provide proof of purchase for some people (for example if they forget to add the games after a unit replacement). And I don't think it works vice versa at all, for example if you link a new Wii to an old Nintendo Club account it won't let that Wii download the games purchased from another Wii that was linked there previously. Nor will it stop the old Wii from redownloading the games it purchased just because you disconnect it from that Club account. All club accounts are for is Stars (or Coins? I forget) basically.
Basically it seems the whole transfer process has to be done manually with the system on hand.
Anyway, we'll see how the May update handles the DSi to 3DS transfers and then expect similar for Wii to Cafe. I doubt buying with point cards vs credit card will make any difference whatsoever, it will probably just somehow check what licences are tied to the system and transfer them to the new one and delete them from the old one. Not as good as just logging in an account from wherever you want, but painless enough I guess.

I'm amazed how they could keep all my save data and yet delete all my VC stuff.
Are you sure it was the same Wii? Did your friend code change since? For me they didn't even transfer the saves but I had them backed up with homebrew apps. And they transfered the game licences but of course didn't bother downloading the stuff, I had to do that when I got it back.

What versions of Final Fantasy, Metal Gear, and Resident Evil are going to be shown on the new Nintendo exactly?
So Pikmin 3 did get switched after all, sweet.
So not only are we getting a new main controller that's like a Gamecube pad with a LCD screen, but we are getting a new version of the remote as well? Will they both be packed in with the console? Is this the way going forward for all machines....to have both a normal pad and a remote pad?
Happy with what I'm hearing of the machine. So since its HD and all that and obviously supports HDMI, the system HAS to have digital sound this time, right? Up until now Nintendo has always forgot to add an optical digital jack to the back of their consoles, so Pro Logic 2 is the best they could do. But if it has HDMI then the digital audio SHOULD be there....
Now that you mention it the slot for the AV cable was a bit tighter than I remembered so it might have been a new or refurbished unit. They repaired it for free though so I was happy either way. Red and green dot problem.
The source of the rumours is purenintendo. Don't really trust it but a lot of the stuff they say could potentially happen and what we've heard elsewhere already told us some of it.
Lara looks like she's.....in position.
So the screen rumour are fake?!
I think he's just saying that the new console wont be a tablet or have a tablet like controller. It could still have a screen like the rumours have said, a GC pad with a screen in the middle. I'm still hoping for wii like controls but in a split apart controller that you can lock together with the screen in the middle.
