What does the U stand for?

U as in....you. The next console will be the Wii Them.

Raven, as far as you're concerned I think you may like what Reggie hinted at. During the Nintendo conference he talked about the 3DS Shop Channel where they'd have Gameboy and GBC games, as well as classic NES games in 3-D. Then he went on to say they'd have games that are even older than NES games redone in 3-D as well. So I don't know about you, but to me that means Pitfall in 3-D.

Is the Wii U backwards compatible with Gamecube games? I haven't found anything stating that so far.
