Why arent there more Wii games like Silent Hill?!??!?!?!?!?!? The level of detail in that game world is crazy. I love being able to use the wiimote for so many functions. Its exactly what I expected games to be like. I can explore this mostly empty world and still have fun. The escape part is boring as hell though, ugh. Since the game tells you when you can be hurt all sense of danger is gone. So while the way it looks and plays is great the idea for the game is total shit. If only this played like a normal Silent Hill but NOOOOOOOO... wii third party games have to have some shit removed or dumbed down,
I think you are suffering because of your familiarity with the SH games. Nothing here is dumbed down or removed and the escape parts were criticised for how difficult and scary they were.

They are not difficult or scary, just stupid wagglefests. How is a game that should have actual combat, health management, item management, sense of danger at all times; have that all removed not be dumbed down. This is a simple version of SH. And it could have been the best one cause I love everything about how it looks and controls.
I am early on maybe it gets better. There better be good puzzles in this.
Well there you go. If you are having a wagglefest it means you are doing it wrong. I think you need to approach this game as if it's a totally new IP and not saddled with years of Silent Hill expectations.
Chris, why are you reporting the price as $300-$250? That's $100 off according to xe.com. Unless I stuffed up the calculation, or the US price as leaked.
